Houston Texas Safety CJ Gardner-Johnson feared a significant injury in Thursday’s practice in West Virginia, but as per the latest update, the worst possible results are avoided.
Gardner-Johnson’s ACL remains intact, but the team is testing more to determine the boundary of injury, ESPN reported.
The team is not allegedly worried about Gardner-Johnson’s ACL.

The 27-year-old Gardner-Johnson was injured as he tried to deal with a comprehensive receiver John Metchi in practice. Once both of them approached, Gardner-Johnson fell to the ground and was in pain.
Security could not put any pressure on her right leg, and the medical staff eventually helped her in a car.
Head coach Democco Rians said about the injury after practice, “It is heartbreaking when you see a person going down on the ground like this and don’t get up quickly.”

“I always panic as a head coach, whenever I collide with anyone. It is difficult to see. So, we will see – we will evaluate the CJ, see where he is, but there is no update at this time.”
Gardner-Johnson is entering his first season with Texas after being acquired from Philadelphia Eagles instead of Left Guard Canian Green. Jacksonville Jaguar was expecting the team’s early free security after Eric Murray was lost in a free agency.

Gardner-Johnson was excellent for super bowl winners Eagles in the last season. Last year, at 16 regular-season games, there were six interception in security (returning to a touchdown), 59 joint tackle and a forced abbal.
Gardner-Johnson had 14 tackles in the team’s four playoff games.
