An NFL employee was allegedly “seriously injured” in large -scale shooting, which took place at 345 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan for the headquarters for the league.
The office building, which sits on the 52nd Street and Park Avenue, was a tragic collective shooting site, leaving five dead, including a police officer, when a gunman set fire to his life.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodll sent a message, which was obtained by Fox News Digital, announced a painful incident to all league employees.

“As widely stated, a gunman did an inexplicable work of violence in our building in 345 Park Avenue. One of our employees were seriously injured in this attack,” read in the message. “He is currently in the hospital and in a stable position. NFL employees are in the hospital and we are supporting his family.
“We believe that all our employees are otherwise safe and responsible for it, and the building is almost cleaned.”
Goodll added emergency information to pay attention to all notices, as the situation remained liquid.

According to NYPD, a NYPD officer killed in shooting has been identified as a 36 -year -old Didarul Islam from Bangladesh, who overtakes two sons and a pregnant wife according to NYPD. He was one of the two uniformed officers at the 345 Park Avenue when shooting took place, although he was working as a security for the Rudin Management Company inside the building on Monday.
Goodll wrote, “We are deeply grateful to law enforcement officers, who responded to this danger quickly and decisively and for the officer Islam, who gave their lives to protect others.”
NYC Police Commissioner Jessica Tish identified the shooter, who acted alone, as 27 -year -old Shane Tamura, a Las Vegas resident with the history of mental health problems.

Tish said that Tamura traveled to cross-transit, his vehicle was last seen in Columbia, New Jersey, recently as 4:24 pm, which was not long before highlighting a barrage of bullets in a high-growing building.
The safety video shows that Tamura is entering the lobby in 345 Park Avenue and is immediately opening the fire, shooting many people. He then shot a security guard behind a desk with M4 Assault Rifle, Tish said.
Tamura was waiting for a lift, where he allowed a woman to leave before being taken to the 33rd floor. Police said that he finally proceeded to shoot and kill another person before taking his life.
Tamura was licensed to carry a hidden weapon in Nevada.
The NYPD is cleaning each floor of the building to ensure that everyone was safe, and no other shooters were present.

As part of their letter to the employees, Goodale mentioned the resources of the league that are available to help employees deal with tragic events.
“As you know, important resources are available for all employees, including grief counselors,” Goodll wrote. “Soon, HR will send more information about the resources available to you and take advantage of them.
