A New Zealand woman has been arrested after being found in a two -year -old girl, when she was traveling in a bus.
Police said the authorities were called to a bus stop in a small town in the north of the country, Kivaka, on Sunday a passenger asked for access to a luggage box.
The New Zealand Police said in a statement, “The driver was worried when he was seen walking. When the driver opened the suitcase, he discovered a two -year -old girl,” New Zealand Police said in a statement.
The 27 -year -old woman has been arrested with a sick treatment/neglect of a child.
Police said, “The little girl was reported to be very hot, but otherwise physically untoward appeared,” the police said.
She said she has been taken to the hospital, where she is doing medical evaluation.
The relationship between the woman and the child has not been revealed.
The woman is scheduled to appear in the North Noise District Court on Monday.
Police said, “We want to accept and appreciate the bus driver, who saw that something was not right and took immediate action, which could have been very bad results, stopping him.”
