After facing several months of backlash, Colorado State Capital has changed a controversial picture. President Donald TrumpWhich he claimed was “deliberately distorted” by the artist.
The Colorado Capital Building Advisory Committee on Wednesday told Fox News Digital that a new presidential portrait donated by the White House was recently installed in the Colorado Capital Building Advisory Committee, in Denver Capital last week. Trump said on the truth on Tuesday, “Thank you to the highly talented artist, Vanessa Haraben and the incredible people of Colorado,” Trump said on the truth social on Tuesday.

Harabna Portrait was established as a temporary demonstration after Thursday’s decision by the Advisory Committee, which displays art in Capital.
“The Capital Building Advisory Committee has agreed to temporarily display this donated picture at the committee meeting on June 26, 2025 and would consider the disposal of the full president’s picture collection at the future meeting,” the committee told Fox News Digital. “The new picture is installed in the third floor gallery of Colorado Capital.”
The Lois Court, a former lawist of the former state, who presided over the committee, told the Associated Press that it was the right step to establish the donated artwork.
“There was an empty on the wall,” the court said. “It seemed inappropriate. We knew that the White House had sent us this replacement and just understood it to apply it.”

After Colorado Democrats, according to the committee, the portrait of the boardman was removed from the wall of the Capital President’s Gallery in April – who control the legislature – agreed to take it down at the request of the local Republican leaders.
