On Thursday, another afternoon of heavy rains inspired flash floods in the mountain village of Ruidoso, New Mexico, forcing the roads to close and defend at least five people who were stuck with running water.
The southern New Mexico community is moving in this summer, bringing more rainfall than the surrounding mountains with the afternoon storm. The previous wildfire has taken away the hills of trees and flora, which is unsafe for frequent floods.

Ruidoso Mayor Lynn Crawford told CBS News that there was significant floods in the city, no deadly or injuries till Thursday evening.

Ruidoso is located in southern New Mexico. Mountain Village is located on a three-hour drive in the southeast of Albuquerque.
On Thursday, residents shared videos on social media, in which the scavenging water walls were shown down on the creek and the streets, separating a mobile house and topping trees on the way. The authorities had stopped traffic to keep vehicles out of water as the audience was seen from high ground.
The forecasts with the national weather service are regularly releasing flash-flood watches and warnings as the summer rainy season is completely. He said on Thursday that a stretch of Rio Ruidoso had increased by about 12.5 feet as a result of burn floods.
Flood watches were also released on Thursday for parts of North New Mexico, which were around the burn scars released by the 2022 calf valley calf peak.
