NewNow you can hear Fox News article!
You feel that heart disease comes with warning signs. But some deadly types, such as structural heart disease (SHD), creep silently. No chest pain. There is no shortage of breath. Nothing is too late.
Now, a new artificial intelligence tool game called Echonext is changing. This can mark hidden heart problems that even trained cardiologists remember by analyzing a standard ECG. This is correct. A routine, a five-minute heart test that you have already unlocked life-saving information if AI is watching.

What is structural heart disease, and why is it so dangerous?
SHD refers to defects in heart walls, valves or chambers. Some are present at birth. Others develop slowly over time. Either way, they often do not pay attention to anyone until something is big, such as a heart attack or stroke. This is why experts are sometimes called SHD “hidden” heart disease. There is a problem here. Even ECGS doctors use regularly to spot heart issues, often SHDs cannot detect on their own. And this is the place where Echonext comes.
What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
Echonext: AI who knows when to dig
Echonext was created by researchers at Columbia University and New York-PressBiterian. The device was trained on more than 1.2 million ECG and Echocardiogram pairs from more than 230,000 patients. Its job? When a patient’s ECG suggests that a deep form is required, in particular, an echocardiogram, ultrasound that gives a detailed view of the heart structure.
Dr. Pierre Alias, who led the study, Dr. Pierre explained to Alias, “Econxes basically uses cheap tests to find out who needs more expensive.”
And the result? Wonderful.

Echonext improves human cardiologist
In trials, Echonext correctly marked 77% of structural heart disease cases from ECG. Cardiologist? Only 64%. Even more impressive, when tested on around 85,000 people, Echonext identified more than 7,500, which was at high risk without any risk. A year later, researchers found that 73% of the people chased with the echocardiogram were actually diagnosed with SHD, which is much above the average. These groundbreaking results were published in nature, one of the most respected scientific magazines in the world. This is not just a better exam. It is a possible life protector.

Why does it matter more than ever
Millions roam every day with SHD and there is no idea. They quit the screening of the heart because nothing seems wrong. Even when they get an ECG, subtle warning signs cannot go to anyone’s attention. Echonext does not miss them. And it is not tired or distracted. This is not about changing doctors. IIT is about giving them a powerful new tool that is to catch what a human cannot do.

What does it mean to you
You do not need to wait for symptoms to take your heart health seriously. If you ever have an ECG, or you are getting one soon, AI can now help spot hidden risks that can miss your doctor. Tools such as echonext make it easy to catch heart problems quickly, even if you feel fine.
This means very little surprise, less left diagnosis and a better shot in treatment before it is too late. This is not about changing doctors. It is about giving them, and you, a better shot in catching problems quickly. Ask your doctor whether the AI Tool is being used to review your heart examinations. You deserve every benefit. Right now, Echonext is being used in research settings, but such as equipment is quickly moving towards widespread use in hospitals and clinics.

Kurt’s major takeaways
AI is no longer the future of medicine. happening now. Echonext proves that the machine learning can fundamentally improve how we detect silent killers like SHDs. If a simple ECG Plus AI can save the lives of thousands of people, what are we waiting for?
