Officials said on Monday that the death of 21 dogs in the New York Boarding facility is under investigation.
Washington County Sheriff Office Said Dogs were found on Sunday at an acre dog boarding facility of Anastasia in Argyle. Another dog found that a veterinarian was taken for treatment, but not much information about the condition of the animal was not disclosed.
It was not immediately clear what causes the deaths, and the officials said that the owners of the convenience are fully cooperating in the investigation.
Liah Brown, CBS told affiliate WRGB-TV That she was discharging in New Hampshire when she received a call that her dog had died in the convenience of Rex. Brown said the investigators told him that there was an issue with the convenience’s ventilation system, causing the dogs to suffocate, but the authorities have not confirmed the reason.
12-year-old Hannah Elmore told WRGB-TV that his family left his 3-year-old dog, piglet on Friday before leaving for Pennsylvania. On Sunday, a few hours before planning to take them, she came to know that she had died.
He told the station that when his family reached the board of an acre of Anastasia. They met with law enforcement and named them their information and piglet.
Elmore told WRGB, “They went in and took him out and excluded him, and then we brought him home, and then we buried him in the backyard.”
The convenience phone became unanswered on Monday, and it did not immediately respond to the email seeking comment on the matter. A notice posted on the social media accounts of the convenience said that it would be closed till the next notice.
