An MSP refused to hide a secret camera in a toilet in the Scottish Parliament after a MSP prohibited from entering the building.
52 -year -old Colin Smith was suspended by Labor on a separate charge of having children’s porn images earlier this month.
Smith criticized the police Scotland for releasing details of his investigation and said that it has forced him to leave his home to protect his family.

Smith first worked as a modern study teacher and has a wife and two daughters.
He said that the police investigation was “especially heavy” for him.
Safety sweep
In an email to MSPS on Friday, the Scottish Parliament stated that the employee “security and welfare” was its priority.
Presiding officer Alison Johnstone wrote: “We can confirm that the police Scotland, with our support, have made a complete sweep of all toilets and changing rooms in our building and no secret recording equipment has been found.
“We have also instructed that additional checks have been increased in our existing security sweeps of the building.”
The Scottish parliamentary corporate body canceled Smith’s reach for the building before the MSP returning from summer holidays next week.
It is understood that Smith can still contribute to the debate and vote from a distance using a system installed in Holiroad during epidemic.
Scottish Labor said that when the party became aware of the investigation of the police, Smith was now an independent MSP when it took “fast action”.
A spokesperson said: “We cannot comment on these deep events, while legal proceedings continue.”
