A group of Yorkshire Labor MPs have written to its Chief Executive Officer to seek reply on the “derogatory” payment made to its Chief Executive Officer.
MPs, including Roder Valley’s Jake Richards and Bradford West MP Naz Shah, are addressing £ 1.3M in the first undeclared payment paid to Yorkshire Water Boss Nikola Shaw.

MPs have now called the company’s chair Vanda Murray for full transparency on payment.
Richards said: “At a time when components are facing a 41% increase in water bills, sewage is polluting our rivers, and pipes are bursting, CEOs are accepting payments that completely contradicts their public statements.

He said that this was the reason that public confidence in water companies was “rock bottom”.
Yorkshire Water, which announced a hosspipe ban for millions of users in July, was one of the six firms banned on paying “inappropriate” bonuses to its authorities this year.

It said that the payment was made in addition to its £ 660,000 salary, and came from Kalda Holdings, which is registered in Jersey.
In the letter to Ms. Murray, the MPs said: “It is humiliating that Ms. Shaw has publicly denied the bonus and still accepted the big payment.”
It is also a series of detailed questions, in which he was paid £ 1.3m in addition to his salary, why is Yorkshire Water based in Water based and if Ms. Shaw had an indirect option for payment bonuses, she publicly declined?
