According to officials, a mountain biker was reported missing in Oregon after not returning home from a biking trip to Mount Hood.
The 52 -year -old Ralph Sawyer was reported to have disappeared around 10:30 pm on Friday – two hours after returning home for a hill biking journey that morning, the office of Clackmas County Sheriff wrote in a news release.
Sheriff’s office stated that a discovery and rescue mission was immediately launched to locate it.

“Sawyer has a long history of mountain biking in the area and is familiar with the area,” said the release said, saying that the bike used was specifically designed for gravel roads.
The man was still not found as Monday, but officials said that his car, a blue kia soul, was located after midnight inside his cell phone after midnight on Saturday.
Sawyer is described as 6’1 “with brown hair. She was last seen wearing an orange bike helmet, blue shirt and black biking shorts.

Sawyer’s discovery is still located at a distance of about 40 miles from Portland, along with American forest service roads around the trilium lake along the Ved Lake and Kinzel Lake.
Officials said about 40 explorers were involved in search on Saturday and 70 were collected on Sunday, which covered hundreds of miles on land and vehicles including ATVs and motorbikes. The technical rope teams were deployed to search for steep areas, while a helicopter from the drone and the Oregon National Guard was discovered by air.
