More than 100 International Assistance Organization and Human Rights Group are warning of massive starvation in Gaza and pressurizing governments to take action.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Save the Children and Oxfam are among the signators of a joint statement who say their colleagues and those they serve are “ruined”.
It asks for an immediate ceasefire, opening of all border crossings and free flows of assistance under the leadership of the United Nations.
Israel, which controls the entry of all supplies into Gaza, denies that it is responsible for rapidly severe food deficiency.
It comes a day after the Hamas-Interested Health Ministry of the region that 33 people, including 12 children, were killed from Sunday due to the effects of malnutrition.
The United Nations also stated that hospitals had accepted people in a state of severe exhaustion due to lack of food, and others were asked to collapse on the streets.
“As the siege of the Israeli government stares the people of Gaza, support workers are now joining the same food lines, which is only being shot to feed their families,” In a statement published on Wednesday, 109 human organizations say,
“With the supply now completely finished, human organizations are wasting their own colleagues and partners in front of their eyes.”
Israel launched a total blockade of aid delivery to Gaza in early March and resumed his military aggressive against Hamas two weeks later, the two -month ceasefire collapsed. It said that it wanted to pressurize the armed group to leave its remaining Israeli hostages.
Although the blockade was partially reduced after about two months, amid warnings of an emerging famine from global experts, food, therapy and fuel deficiency have deteriorated.
“Doctors report records of rapid malnutrition, especially among children and older people. Diseases like acute water diarrhea are spreading, markets are empty, garbage is accumulating, and adults are falling on the streets due to hunger and dehydration,” humanitarian organizations warns.
“A support worker who provided psychological assistance talked about the devastating effect on children: ‘Children tell their parents that they want to go to heaven, because at least there is food in heaven.”
They also note that the United Nations Human Rights Office says that it has recorded more than 1,050 Palestinians murder by the Israeli Army, which has been trying to get food from May 27- one day after the controversial aid distribution system run by Israel- and US-supported Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) began to work for the United Nations. Did.
According to the United Nations, at least 766 people have been killed in the surrounding area of four assistance distribution sites of GHF, located inside the military areas of Israel and operated by American private security contractors. Another 288 people have been killed near the United Nations and other aid convoys.
The Israeli army says its troops posted near GHF sites have only carried out warning shots and do not deliberately shoot citizens, while GHF says the United Nations is using the “false and misleading” figures of Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Humanitarian organizations also say that almost all the population of Gaza has been displaced and is now limited to less than 12% area, which has not been covered by Israeli’s withdrawal orders or within the militant areas of Israel, making the aid operations unstable.
And they say that only 28 lorry load assistance in Gaza is being distributed on an average.
“Just outside the Gaza, in the warehouses – and even inside the Gaza – tons of food, clean water, medical supply, items and fuel are untouched with human organizations that block them from accessing or distributing them.”
The United Nations says that Israel, as the power -occupied power, has an obligation under international law to reach all population.
Israel stressed that it acts according to international law and facilitates the entry of assistance, ensuring that it does not reach Hamas.
It has recently admitted that there has been a significant decline in supply to reach Palestinians, but blamed the United Nations agencies.
The Israeli Military Body Cogt, which coordinates the entry of assistance to Gaza, wrote on X on Monday that about 4,500 lorry load entered Gaza in the last two months, including 2,500 tonnes of baby food and high-calorie special food for children.
It also published drone footage that showed what it was said that the Ghazan side of Karem Shalom and Zikim Crossing had 950 lorry loads of assistance collected by the United Nations and other international organizations.
“The hurdle of the collection remains the main obstacle to maintain the frequent flow of human assistance in the Gaza Strip,” the Cogt said.
The United Nations has stated that it struggles to collect assistance from inside crossing points and transport it through military areas because due to ongoing enmity, fuel deficiency and difficulties in achieving the Israeli authority.
According to the United Nations Humanitarian Office, from 9 to 15 July, out of 66 attempts to coordinate the assistance movements planned in Gaza, about 17% was denied by Israeli officials.
An additional 33% were initially accepted, but faced obstacles, including blocks or delays on the ground, and 5% withdrawn for logical, operational or security reasons.
Human organizations say that they cannot “expect the current arrangements” that it is time for governments to “take decisive action”.
“Demand an immediate and permanent ceasefire; lift all bureaucracy and administrative sanctions; Open all land crossings; Ensure access to all of Gaza all of Gaza; reject the military-controlled delivery model; reject a royal, United Nations-led human response and continue to fund the mourning and fair human organizations.”
“States should chase concrete measures to eliminate siege, such as preventing the transfer of weapons and ammunition,” they say.
On Monday, UK’s Foreign Ministers and 27 other countries called for an immediate end for the war in Gaza. Israel’s Foreign Ministry said the statement “separated from reality and sends wrong messages to Hamas”.
The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza on 7 October 2023 in response to the Hamas -led attack on Southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people and 251 others were taken hostage.
According to the Hamas-Interested Health Ministry of the region, at least 59,106 people have been killed in Gaza since then.
