The United States Coast Guard said that three people were recovered after an aircraft accident at Montere County on Saturday and found to be unanswered.
The search and rescue team recovered three universal passengers on Sunday, The Coast Guard said.
Just before 11 o’clock, the Coast Guard station in Montere was alerted for a twin-engine beachcraft, crashed between 200–300 yards from Point Pinos.
The Coast Guard said that three people were on the board. A boat and a helicopter crew responded to the scene and located the beach.
The Coast Guard said that a person was found to be unanswered around 3 pm. Officials said the other two on Sunday morning were found to be irresponsible inside the aircraft.
According to the Coast Guard, the aircraft flew from San Carlos Airport.
The Pacific Grove police said they received a call about the plane crash after 10 pm and said that it crashed near the Asilomer State Beach. A Prashant Grove resident said that he heard an aircraft orbiting his neighborhood and then thundered loudly after about 30 seconds.
The three victims were identified by the Monateri County Sheriff Office as 36 -year -old James Vincent of Salinas of 60 -year -old Steve Eugene Claterbuck and 44 -year -old Jamie Lee Tabskot of Montere. The office said in a statement that, “The family and friends of the deceased have expressed that they want to expand their gratitude to support the community. They ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
Pacific Grove Police, Montere Fire Department, Montere County Sheriff Office and San Meto County Sheriff Office, Cal Fire and Coast Guard were all at the scene.
The National Transport Safety Board is investigating the accident.
