Two children were killed and at least 17 people were injured after a shooting at a Catholic school in Miniapolis.
The attack occurred at around 08:30 local time (13:30 BST), where children were participating in a puja service during their first week of their school.

Gunman
The gunman has been identified as 23 -year -old Robin Westman, from suburban miniapolis, three law enforcement sources have told BBC American partner CBS News.
Their purpose is currently unknown.
They were described as wearing all black clothes and carrying three weapons – a rifle, a gun and a pistol. A smoke bomb was also found that the police believe that his car was found in the church car park.
Miniapolis police chief Brian O’Hara said that he did not have a “widespread known criminal history”, and he worked alone.
“Our hearts are broken to families who have lost their children”, O’Hara said, as well as “fight to recover” and “for the whole community who have been very deeply traumatized by this sensitive attack”.

Two children, aged eight and 10, were killed. Seventeen people were also injured, out of which 14 are children.
Police said that the gunman was also dead.
CBS News says that ten injured are in critical condition in the hospital.
Thomas Wet, chairman of emergency medicine at the Henepin County Medical Center, said that seven children between the ages of six to 14 were brought to their department and were in critical condition with the need of four.
Non-intelligent patients were taken to other hospitals.
“These were the miniapolis family,” Mayor Jacob Frey said during a briefing. “These were American families, and they are exceptional the amount of pain right now.”
Creating a spiked reference to specific political response to large -scale firing, FRE – A Democrat – said: “Don’t say that it is about ‘ideas and prayers right now. These children were really praying.”
School
According to its website, the Announcement Catholic Church and its trust-based school are up to Grade 8 (age of 14) for students of preschool (nursery-level).
Catholic school’s approach to teaching is one of confidence-based learning, which applies in all classes.
It states that his religion “forces” him to reach others in the region, with other parganas and his sister in Haiti with school.
