A trauma surgeon on Thursday revealed a trauma surgeon revealing a trauma surgeon that a staff member of the hospital went into a CT scanner with one of the young victims of the shooting of the Miniapolis Church and “kept it in hand”.
Dr. of Henepin Healthcare. John Genden told reporters that “there are types of things we saw yesterday” as the injured were demanding medical care in view of the deadly mass shooting at the Announcement Catholic Church.
“One of the victims came to the emergency department – [there] Another unit was a nurse manager, which we would normally respond – and one of the children was very scared and alone, because everyone was running about doing his work, nothing to do with.
“And she went into a whistle scanner with the patient, originally put herself in a manner of loss of radiation, which would usually vacate the room. She led a little and stopped there and grabbed her hand and grabbed her hair, when she went through the scanner, so she did not have to pass alone,” she said.

“We can describe things that we saw from our team members and our hospital, and it was inspiring,” also said by Genden. “It is difficult to take care of a child who is injured. Eight of them is almost impossible, but it happened yesterday.”
According to Hennapin EMS head Marti Sheyherr, children protecting other children during the shooting were also many “unfamiliar heroes” on Wednesday.

“I am saying too much, but we had a child who covered another child and took a gun explosion for his back and such things, and they were helping each other,” the shareer said.
Thomas Clemond, CEO of Henepin Healthcare, said at early Thursday afternoon, “We currently have nine patients who were involved in shooting yesterday.
“Six of those patients are in satisfactory conditions. There are five children of those patients. We have two patients in critical condition, one adult and a child. And we currently have a child in critical condition,” they continued.

“This is a terrible, inexplicable event that affected our community, influenced our workforce, and clearly impressed those people directly. So our hearts go out for those who are directly impressed,” Klemond said. “In Henepin, this is what we do. We are a trauma center. We take care, the worst for injuries. So it is part of our daily work, but we are also human.”
