Facebook, being a platform used by Arabs, is filled with all types of accounts. However, not all of them are real. There are many bots that often hijack the comment section, posting the same message repeatedly. There are also accounts that have originally shared their entire follower base by sharing the material created by others.
Meta feels that the stage needs some cleaning, and it is announced that 10 million accounts were removed in the first half of 2025 alone. Perj, it seems, it is over.

What you should know about the recent account removal of Facebook
Meta states that it was removed about 10 million accounts in the first half of 2025, mostly for copying, spam behavior and fake engagement. It is part of a comprehensive effort to promote the original material and clean the platform and prioritize the original material. According to the company, accounts were taken down to transplant large material producers, which shared updates in a blog post aimed at the purpose of the creators.

Crackdown is part of a comprehensive initiative “to make the feed more relevant and helps to break authentic creators,” Spamy is initiated by “spamy content” with meta.
In addition to 10 million impersonator accounts, the company says it took action on about 500,000 accounts engaged in spammy behavior or fake engagement. The company is also implementing strict policies, which is called informal material. This defines it as posts that repeatedly reuse or reuse the work of another manufacturer without any credit.

Meta is insisting on specificity
Meta says it is not targeting the creators who participate in trends or remix existing materials. What matters whether they add some original to the mixture. The company encourages reaction video, comments and other transformative uses of content.
But accounts that will repeatedly face results without permission to the work of others or without meaningful changes. These actions include how widely the meta reflects their content and temporarily disables access to mosquito facilities. If the Meta’s systems detect duplicate videos, the platform will prioritize the original version and limit the access of copies.
The company is also experimenting with methods of creating original creators more clearly, such as adding back the link to the source video. To help manufacturers maintain visibility and access, the meta advises to focus on the original material, avoid the third-party watermark, and to edit adequate editing when using materials from other sources. Basic sewing or watermarking, company notes, are not counted as a meaningful change.

Why the rift of meta matters to the creators
The crack of the meta is not just about removing spam. This directly affects how the material is ranked, shown and mudriped. For creators, especially trying to expand small audiences, the originality now plays a much larger role than ever. If your content is marked as informal or spamy, Facebook may stop showing it in people’s feeds. This may tank your access and in some cases, cut access to in-stream advertisements or bonus programs such as mudification equipment.
On the other hand, manufacturers who focus on creating unique materials or change existing media have a better shot when standing outside. Meta says it is adjusting its algorithm to promote authentic voices. If they play with new rules, the original creators can help get more traction.

How to avoid punishment under new Meta’s new material rules
To prevent Meta from flagging or removing your Facebook account under your new policies, especially if you are a manufacturer or post material regularly, follow these major stages:
1. Post the original material. Share the material you create, whether it is photo, video, lesson or something. Meta is more likely to punish accounts that mostly depend on reposted or recycled materials.
2. Change the material if you use it again. If you are sharing someone else’s content (with permission or under proper use), add real value. Response videos, voiceover, commentary or edit that change reference or experience. Just sewing the clip together or slapping on a watermark will not be able to bite it.
3. Avoid copying and spam strategy. Do not pretend to be any other manufacturer or brand, and do not rely on the fodder of engagement (eg spamming comment section or repetition hashtags). Meta is actively removing accounts that are engaged in fake interactions.
4. Avoid using visible third-party watermarks. If your video shows a clear indication of recycling from another app, such as the Ticketkok Watermark, Meta can flag it. Upload a clean version from other platforms without logo or branding.

The cracks downwards on spam and fake accounts are a step in the right direction, especially for those creators who are struggling to pay attention. Facebook has been messy for some time, the same video and memes pop up from different pages and bots flooding comment section.
