Attorney General Palm Bondi said on X on Friday morning, “Yesterday we made 40 arrests, took 5 more illegal firearms on our streets, and 36 snow arrests -including members of a suspected MS -13 gang.”
According to Bondi, Thursday’s arrest reached 719 as President Donald Trump announced his efforts to make DC police federal on 11 August. He thanked Trump for “unwavering support to make DC again safe”!

The suspects have been accused of murder, drug trafficking, possession of illegal firearms and crimes including child sexual offenses.
