A new after-Dark swimming experience opens for summer because the unveiling of the capital city is safe, using the moonlight beach with full facilitiesAbu Dhabi has added a new attraction to its summer offerings with the opening of Marsana Knight Beach, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy swims after sunset in a fully supervised and well -light environment. The beach is located on Marsana East Beach on Hadayrit Island, and has officially opened to the public on Tuesday, 1 July.Designed for those wishing to defeat heat in the evening hours, Marsana Night provides a cool setting for the night swimming, which is equipped with lifegard on duty and has many features.
Night swimming time and weather duration
Knight Beach will operate in summer from 1 July to 30 September. Its program varies depending on the day of the week:
- Monday to Thursday (workday): open from sunset till 10 pm
- Friday to Sunday and public holidays: open from sunset to midnight
This new initiative allows visitors to experience the beach under the moonlight while maintaining a high level of safety and comfort.
Safety measures and comfort facilities
To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all beaches, it has been fitted along the beach:
- Enlightened water for clear visibility during swimming
- Lifegard supervision all the time during operating hours
- Meeni coolers with water stationed around the premises to help visitors to help visitors hydrated and cool in summer heat
- Comfortable loungers and dining options provide a complete holiday experience
Admission fee
Marsana Night access to the beach comes with an entry fee that varies by day and age group. Children under the age of six can enter free.
Monday to Thursday:
- DH50 ($ 13.61) for persons over 12 years old
- DH25 ($ 6.81) for children aged 6-11 years old
Friday to Sunday and holidays:
- DH100 ($ 27.23) for persons over 12 years old

Night beach tendency spreads to the United Arab Emirates
The move of Abu Dhabi follows a uniform trend seen in Dubai, where night beaches are already operational in many places, including Jumera 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Sukuum 1. These beaches remain late at night and by 2023, a growing effort for people of determination has also been made accessible, which reflects a growing attempt to include the UAA.

Apart from New Night Beach, one of the major water parks of Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld has also expanded its footprint.
