The Bombay High Court asked the Mumbai Police to act and ensure that no other protesters should enter the city.
The Maratha Kota protests led by activist Manoj Zrenge entered their fifth day on Tuesday, leading to strong reactions from the Bombay High Court, which asked its supporters to evacuate all the roads in the city by noon.
Given that Mumbai was “literally paralyzed” due to the Maratha movement, the court ordered to clean and clean all the roads by Tuesday afternoon, violating in conditions.

The High Court also asked the Mumbai Police to act and ensure that no other protesters should enter the city.
Immediately after the intervention of the court, the Mumbai Police issued a notice to the Maratha Kota leader Manoj Zeranng, asking him to vacate the Azad Maidan.

Maratha quota protest
Activists Manoj Zeranz are staging an uncertain hunger strike on their demand for 10 percent reservation to the Maratha community under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. Thousands of people from the community have reached Mumbai to support their stir.
