Luigi Mangione’s lawyers are accusing the federal government of providing “naked, vague allegations” in the case of his death sentence against CEO Killer, the accused United Healthcare.
In filing in a new court, defense is asking a federal judge that the prosecution needs to submit information around the allegations, which aims to prove in the punishment for the death sentence of Mangian’s death.
Raksha has claimed the information of the prosecutors about various factors – such as the alleged danger for individuals other than the victim and the impact on the loved ones of the victim – “only bare, vague allegations, there is a lack of any information about the facts that the government intends to trust,” according to the document.

Mangian’s legal team is arguing that the lack of details prevents them from preparing to protect their customer against the allegations during the trial punishment and is in violation of the Federal Death Penal Act.
The document suggests that a “informative framework” should be provided to defense.
The document reads, “The need for enough time to conduct such an inquiry is particularly intense in the case, as the government announced its intention to seek Death Penalty, before the opportunity to conduct a mitigation investigation and a detailed factual mitigation for the Justice Department to protect.”

Mangion is accused of closing United Healthcare CEO Bryan Thompson outside Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan on December 4, 2024 before fleeing Pennsylvania.
Federal prosecutors allege that Mangian used a homemade ghost gun to shoot Thompson twice from behind, in which the authorities believed that the words of the murder were ideologically motivated due to the words “refusal,” “delay” and “depot”.

The Manhattan District Attorney Office previously referred to the shooting as an act that aims to “spread a social and political message to the public on a large scale.”

The prosecution also indicates a note addressed by the journal entries and the FBI by Mangion, in which he allegedly rails against the US healthcare system, saying that “these parasites were coming.”
Mangians are facing several federal allegations, including a gun and alleged murder through chasing. Additionally, he is facing state allegations in a case that is expected to proceed before his federal test.

Mangian has requested not to be guilty for all allegations.
The legal team of the Department of Justice and Mangian did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s remarks.
