A person who killed a cyclist and tried to get rid of the evidence was put in jail.
On 7 July 2023, 47 -year -old Anthony Smith was found to be badly injured in Lesestershire in Lessestershire.
Police said Jonathan Knight had removed its damaged Audi and later unwavering it, but thanks to witnesses and forensic evidence were detected.
The 31 -year -old Knight was found guilty for several driving crimes and the syllabus of justice was completed and sentenced to 14 years in jail.
On Wednesday, the Night of Becon Road, Lofborough, in the Lecester Crown Court, was found guilty of death by driving without any care or thought under the influence of drugs, causing death by driving without a license, causing an unlicensed driving, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and destroying the curriculum of justice.
Along with the jail sentence, he was also disqualified from driving for 13 years and eight months.
Police said several witnesses operated a damaged silver Audi S3 with Ling Road, Brown Lane and Beacon Road.
The windscreen was so badly damaged, said, the driver had to keep his head of the driver’s side window to see where he was going.
Soon after, the Audi was found burning near the pass and the vehicle came to know of the night.
Officials said the pieces of windscreen from Mr. Smith and Knight’s clothes also came by car.

DET Con Paul Hix said: “We had no witness to the actual collision that made the case more challenging from the beginning and gave it an additional level of complexity.
“However, through some wide detective work and excellent forensic evidence, we were able to keep the night as the driver of the vehicle, who killed and unhappy Tony.
“Given the clear efforts to destroy any possible evidence except and set the car, Knight was additionally accused of destroying the syllabus of justice, another crime that strengthened the heavy case against him.”
A 40 -year -old man and a 31 -year -old woman, who was first arrested on suspicion of assisting a criminal and no further action was taken to carry forward the curriculum of justice.
