The part of the M60 is closed in both directions on the second day after the eight-vehicle accident, national highways have said.

One lorry operated through central reservation and hit several lamp posts, while the other shed his weight of beer barrel.
The National Highway said that the recovery work has now been completed and all the road users caught within the closure have been released. It has been added that the emergency resurrection work is now being done and the motorway will be closed by 10:00.
National Highways said that the contractors will work throughout the day to complete the repair to reopen the road.
It said that there were many broken fuel tanks due to the damage to central reservation and beer, resulting in a large amount of diesel across the carriageway in both directions.
The national highways apologized for that inconvenience, while cleaning and repair works and thanked people for their patience.
The North West Ambulance Service said that three people were rushed to the hospital for further treatment, while six others were evaluated for minor injuries.
Meanwhile, three conflicts on M62 have been delayed earlier.
