A portion of the M1 motorway in Bedfordshire has been closed after a multi-marriage accident.
The National Highway said that Carizway was closed at around 14:00 BST between Junction 13 for Brogboro/Bedford and Junction 12 to Todington.
Emergency services including an air ambulance were sent, it was added.
Traffic has been stopped northwards to leave the visuality to the helicopter.
