London’s Hot Air Balloon Regata, London’s Lord Mayor, is standing below for the sixth year.
Pawan’s direction and speed have been blamed for cancellation of Sunday’s incident, which can be seen as 60 balloons in the sky in the capital.
Regata was last held in 2019 when 46 hot air balloons were launched from Batters Park.
A spokesperson said: “We are all really strange because it seemed yesterday that it could happen. It is a British season. It is such a pain. It is a pain. And everyone had put a lot in it.”
Depending on the direction of the wind, the balloons could pass at places including Buckingham Palace, The London Eye, The House of Parliament, Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Due to re -launch from Batters Park, the final plan of the year was on Sunday.
The efforts were earlier scheduled on 11 May and 20 July.
It is expected to proceed in 2026.
The incident was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Koronwirus epidemic.
And in 2022, 2023 and 2024 it failed to get off the ground due to bad weather.
The event supports Lord Mayor’s appeal and has increased by more than £ 250,000 since 2015.
