Carrollton, Texas-Patrick Reid lost the lead with a 3-over 75 and then made a 15-foot beardi put on the first hole of the four-man playoffs on Sunday to win the LIV Golf Dallas, and made their first title after joining the Saudi-Finance-funded league in 2022.
Reid, who started the final round with a three-shot lead, fell back at the end of the day at the Marido Golf Club until Jinchiro Kozuma did not make a bogie on the 18th hole and then equal to his final hole at number 1 for 68.
She found her in a playoff with Reid, Louis Ostuction (68) and Paul Casey (72).
On the first additional hole, Oostthuizen entered the water and KC took four shots to reach green on par-4 18th. Kozuma recalled his 25-foot beardi attempt, establishing the stage for Reid.
Reid said that it was a relief to win his first victory in his home state of Texas. He won the Hong Kong Open on the Asian tour last year, but went for 41 in Live Golf.
Reid said, “To bring my first win here, part of the live, it matters a lot to me.” “I tried to mess it up. After making a bird on the first, I think every put was left small.”
Bryson Decombo made his last hole significantly because it first dropped John Rahm from the top 10 in live golf.
Sergio Garcia was never a factor, but he ends the week at number 5 in the points standing, earning a loan spot in the open championship for live golf players, which is not already eligible for royal portraits in the top five.
