Veteran
Born in Fireball GC captain Spanish, Sergio Garcia, calls Real Club Walderma a “my favorite syllabus in the world”.
Given that Garcia has won four professional tournaments there, including her success in 2024, Live Golf Personal Playoffs, it is no wonder that the smile crosses her face whenever she talks about Valdarma.
The 45 -year -old Garcia is certainly happy to return to the course for Live Golf Andalusia for the third consecutive year.
“It’s super special,” Garcia said. “How much for me, not only for me, but for all of us, because for all, for Europe, all the amazing things that have taken place here on this golf course, how much does it mean to all of them.”
Last year, Garcia and his fireball were certainly amazing, as they had swept the two trophies through the playoffs – the only time in the young history of Live Golf that a tournament has produced a double playoff for personal and team title.
“It’s great to me,” Garcia said.
Sergio Garcia reacts after winning Spain last year.
Garcia is not the only Spanish -born captain in Live Golf. John Rahm of Legion XIII enjoys returning to his country to play the first course in Continental Europe to host the Rider Cup in 1997.
Rahm said, “All this is subjective, but it is probably the best golf course in Spain.” “This is something we all want to play.”
Clex Golf Club captain Martin Caimar was born in Germany, but now he lives in the Sotograde region including Waldrama. He is close to lifting a trophy on several occasions in his supporting career.
“One of the places where I wanted to name my name on the trophy,” said Kaimar. “I got closer. I think I finished five or six times in the top 5. Therefore, this is a golf course that I like, that I enjoy playing, that I can play well. It’s a matter of time, hopefully.”

Bryson Decombo Creshers GC has won the last three live golf teams and Live Golf will look for a fourth direct trophy in Andalusia. If they win in Valdarma, it matches the live golf record for the longest win streak by a team or person.

Key to success
Bogi Parihar: Birdy is very important than rate. In this course, the average top -5 finisher has made 2.75 bogies per round vs.25 per round for other players ending in the top 50.
Finding Fairways: The value of the distance is the lowest season, on average only +0.11 per hole. Play also has severe Miss Fairway Penalty, average +0.40. The possibility of the driver will be the most used only 6/7 times.
Inside 150 yards: Players will have to cope with wedges with a season average of 32.5% at a distance of 150 yards of 52% of their approach shots this week.
Lag putting: Because the fine for the missing greens is very serious, players focus on the middle and large parts of the greens rather than the target for the flag. Thus, the puts are more impressive before the long time.
