The streaming platform kick has accused French authorities of politicizing the death of a material manufacturer, who died during a vibrantity.
Rafael Graven, also known as Jean Pormanov, was found dead in a residence near the city of Nice last week.
Prosecutors have opened an investigation in the Australian video platform, and French government minister Clara Chappaz said that the state will be there Kick in court “To prevent damage from the material included in this tragedy”.
Kick told BBC News, “This manufacturer is not about safety, customer safety, or the good of the industry, but a political story that takes advantage of a tragic personal loss.”
And the streaming platform said that it was “disappointed” that the media was told about the minister’s actions.
The BBC has reached the French government for response.
Mr. Graven was known for the video in which he appeared to bear clear violence and insult.
The Paris prosecutor said that this week its investigation would pay attention to whether Kick deliberately broadcast “videos of attacks on personal integrity”.
Kick has now given more information, from his perspective, about the death of Mr. Graven.
It said that the manufacturer died during the “specific” livestream and as per the prior statements made by Mr. Graven and other participants, his contents were “pre-planned and scripted”.
Kick said that Mr. Graven died on the bed during the section, and it said that it has removed the material showing his death.
Kick also stated that it suspends all the respective accounts pending investigation, and said that it fully collaborates with all the authorities, including law enforcement, regulatory bodies RCom and the offices of the chappaz.
‘Correct false narratives’
“We are surprised by the messages mentioned by politicians,” Kick said.
“We never tried and will not try to avoid or deny our regulatory obligations.
“We hope that it would be possible to work deliberately with French authorities and correct false narratives that will be broadcast.”
Mr. Graven was found dead on 18 August.
Local media reported that 46 -year -old, during the streams, was subject to violence and lack of sleep.
In a post on X, Chappaz described his death as an “absolute scary” and said that he was humiliated and misbehaved on stage for months.
A post mortem examination showed that Mr. Graven’s death was not the result of trauma or any third party works.
The local police have seized the video and interviewed many people who say they were present when they died.
He also revealed that Mr. Graven was earlier spoken by detectives and “strongly denied” being a victim of violence, stating that the acts he was involved in, “to make a discussion” and staged to earn money.
Kick is a platform similar to Twitch, and user can transmit materials and interact with other users in real time.
Kick said in a previous statement, “We are very sad about the loss of Jean Pormanov and express our condolences to our family, friends and community.”
