The independent newspaper’s chief international correspondent Bell True shows Gaza’s aerial footage and parts of Gaza shared with BBCs, almost completely in ruins after two years of Israeli bombing and military avatar.
Tu told the BBC that he took footage while eating on a military flight, leaving food in the area and could see “complete destruction” as far as the horizon. He described the scene as “chilling”.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israel now intends to control the entire Gaza, but “does not want to keep it”.
The United Nations has warned that the step may risk “frightening” results for Gaza’s Palestinians, most of which have already been displaced several times, and the families of Israeli hostages are still held in Gaza, it can put their loved ones in danger.
