John Torod has been dismissed as the MasterShef presenter as it was retained after an emergence that an allegation of using the racist language was upheld.
On Monday, the TV chef said that he had a “no remembrance” of the incident, saying: “I don’t believe it happened.”
But on Tuesday, it emerged that it was rejected.
This puts the BBC cooking show in a deep crisis, even after more than 40 different allegations against Torod’s co-magic Greg Wallace, his conduct was retained as part of the investigation.
The controversy over MasterShef began last year, when BBC News first revealed the claims of inappropriate sexual language against Warce.
Wallace was dismissed last week as dozens of people and people came forward with allegations against BBC News. He has always denied claims.
