A Jewish advocacy group is destroying the Democratic New York City Mayorle Nominee Zoharan Mamdani to make fun of Hanukka Jewish traditions on social media.
Organization, stop antismitism, says that Mammadani posted a “sick” video in her X account last year. The video is originally from the Geeta Brothers Duet Group, a satirical and comical couple who dressed themselves in conservative Jewish dresses for performance.
Stop Antisementism wrote in a statement on X, “Zoharan Mamdani posts Indian men, spinning Dredels and illuminating Menorah.”
The group said, “Our holidays and traditions are sacred and not for your comic pleasure, Zoharan Mamdani – it is ill,” the group said, tagging the mayoral candidate.

Mammadani posted the video in December 2024, stating the caption, “Happy third night of Hanukka from Estoria and Long Island City.”
The video originates from the 2015 parody album “Punjabi Christmas Album Hits”, which is from Geeta Brothers.
Mamdani posted Another video of the same album on the eve of Christmas, it is based on “Jingle Bells”.
“Wish you all a very Christmas wishes from Estoria and Long Island City,” he wrote at that time.
Mamdani’s campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s remarks.

The allegations of antisementism have disturbed Mamdani’s campaign from the beginning. A self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist has several times refused to recognize Israel’s rights, which is present as a Jewish state, and has supported the BDS movement against Israel.
“I believe Israel has the right to existence,” he said during a Mayor primary debate in June.
“As a Jewish state?” The moderator pressed.
“As a state with equal rights,” said Mammadani.

He later explained in detail on Israel’s opposition to Israel as a Jewish state in an interview with Fox 5.
He said, “I am not comfortable to support any state, which has a citizenship hierarchy or something on the basis of religion.”
