Nearly two decades later, a woman from Florida disappeared from her apartment building without any trace, the authorities announced a new break that can breathe a new life in the previous cold case.
24 -year -old Jennifer Casey, disappeared from her Orlando Kondo Complex after going to work on the morning of 24, 24 January 2006, stumped both states and federal investigators and raced to catch their kidnappers.

Casey immediately tried to reach her daughter – relying on a family rule that they would always respond to each other’s call – but her phone went straight to the sound mail.
“I knew something was wrong.”
Casey and his wife, Joyce quickly drive a two -hour drive from their home to Orlando in Tampa, where they found their daughter’s apartment empty with several outfit options.

Parents immediately called the Orlando Police Department to report the disappearance of Jennifer.
Casey said, “She looked around her apartment, shook her shoulders and said,” She fought with her lover, maybe she will come back. ” “They went out. And he was Jennifer’s last chance.”
More than a decade later, the family sued the city of Orlando, OPD and Mayor’s Office, citing a bottled investigation to request KC’s disappearance and search related documents.

The OPD, Orlando city and the mayor’s office did not immediately respond to the request for Fox News Digital’s comment.
The first successful request for records in an ongoing case in the trial was handed over more than 16,000 pages involved in the city’s investigation. Drew Casey compiled a team of 13 members of the law enforcement, including former US secret service and FBI agents, to carry forward her daughter’s discovery.

In November 2022, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) handled the case, the case was eventually cold with any lead.
Until last month, when KC received a call from FDLE, stated that investigators have obtained new DNA evidence and compared to individuals of their interests, using a list compiled by KC’s team.

Casey credited the break to remove his team and new technology of investigators in this case to remove previous obstacles related to evidence.

The team told NASA that Jennifer’s car was removed from her apartment complex on the day of her disappearance, three days later in a separate Kondo parking in a separate Kondo parking on the road, the driver’s face was unclear from the nearby gate, where the vehicle was found.

For now, the family is eagerly waiting for any new information that may potentially explain what happened to Jennifer.

In the light of Jennifer’s disappearance, the Florida House of Representatives unanimously said “The Jennifer KC and Tiffany Sessions missing Person Act,” said how the reports of the people in Florida are investigated by the need of law enforcement agencies to implement written policies to handle such cases.
