Videos of the ‘deadly’ attack on SpiceJet employees at Srinagar Airport last week have gone viral. Video and CCTV footage from the incident have been presented by the airline as part of the FIR against the senior army officer.

In another video walking online, the man was seen taking a queue stand near the airline’s boarding gate and an employee was attacked until he was taken away by a CISF officer.

The CCTV footage accessed by HT shows the officer, which is yet to be nominated, kicking the punching and airline staff. According to the airline’s statement, despite an employee being unconscious due to the attack, the officer continued to kick the employee.
“Our staff members faced a spinal fracture and serious jaw injuries after attacking with panchs, frequent kicks and a queue stand. A spiceJet employee fainted on the floor, but the passenger fainted and continued to kill the unconscious employee,” read the official statement from the aircraft.
SpiceJet said, “Another staff member bended to help the associate, after bending the jaw to the jaw, faced bleeding from the nose and mouth, which was unconscious. The injured employees were taken to the hospital and treated for treatment for serious injuries,” SpiceJet said.
According to the airline, the passenger was attacked after flagging the staff that his cabin belongings had crossed the allowed border. SpiceJet said the passenger was carrying two pieces of cabin goods weighing a total of 16 kg, which was more than double the permissible range of 7 kg.
