James Andrew McGan arrested for Devils Dane State Park double murder

The Arkansas Department of Public Safety announced that they had arrested on Wednesday in the murder of a married couple in front of their children at Devils Dane State Park.

Special agents of the Arkansas State Police (ASP) arrested 28 -year -old James Andrew McGain of Springdale for their alleged part in the dual colors on Saturday.

He accused 43 -year -old Clinton Brink and 41 -year -old Christon Brink, while he hikes with his daughters. His daughters, 7 and 9 years of age are now with family.

He is being accused of two cases of capital murder.

The police originally released a composite sketch after being found to the couple along a walking route in the state park. In his statement, he alerted the suspect who “hurt while attacking the couple.” He had no other information at that time.

Governor Sarah Hukabi Sanders issued a statement a few hours after the arrest of James Andrew McGain.

“Any news cannot cure the huge losses done to the Brink family in the last weekend crime, but this announcement is a comfort and assurance for our state. I am proud of Arkansas State Police, Park Rangers, local law enforcement, and others who have worked for a nonstop to catch the suspect for the previous weekend,” said Governor Sanders. “I ask that Arkansan lifts the prayer of thanks to the brave men and women of law enforcement – and pray to the victims of this horrific crime. Let’s not tolerate violent crime in Arkansas. If you target innocent people, the law will take you down and bring you to judge.”
