Israeli’s remote National Security Minister Itmar Ben-Gwir visited the Al-Aksa Masjid complex in Jerusalem and prayed there, covering one of the most sensitive sites in the Middle East, violating a decades-old system.

Waqf, the Islamic Endowment that runs the site, said that Ben-Gawir was one of the 1,250 Jews, who climbed the campus on Sunday morning.

In a statement on the site, Ben-Gwir stated that the “horror” video of the recently released hostages by Hamas, in which they appear to be weak, was to pressurize Israel, and was called to return the hostages.
The minister also repeated his call to Israel to capture the Gaza Strip for Israel and to encourage the “voluntary emotional” of the Palestinians from the region.
Experts say this would be the amount for forced displacement of citizens, and a possible war crime.
