Israel’s security cabinet approved a plan to capture Gaza City in the early hours of Friday, increasing the ongoing Israeli war against Hamas.
The announcement came after a full night meeting of the security cabinet after the announcement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel has planned to resume control over the entire region and eventually handed over it to friendly Arab forces in protest against Hamas.
“The security cabinet has approved the Prime Minister’s proposal to defeat Hamas. The IDF will prepare the Gaza city to control the city by distributing humanitarian aid to the civilian population outside the fighter areas.” Read a post from the official X account of the Prime Minister of Israel.
The office stated that the security cabinet, by vote, adopted five principles for the conclusion of the war, included: the disarmament of Hamas, the return of all the hostages – the living and the deceased, the demonetisation of the Gaza stripo, the Israeli security control in the Gaza Strip, and the establishment of an alternative civilian administration which is neither a haemas nor a pastor.

The Prime Minister’s office said, “The decisive majority of the security cabinet ministers believed that the alternative scheme presented to the security cabinet would neither receive Hamas’s defeat nor return to the hostage,” the Prime Minister’s office said.
