As the summer heat inspires many Americans to arrive for cold drinks after a difficult day’s work, some can be surprised: if you are not cutting it completely then what is the healthy wine sip?
Some health-conscious Americans choose alcohol options instead of beer and cider to avoid extra calories. Other red wine avoids To clarify the hangover-upperran tannin.
The growing favorite is Tequila, especially when it is celebrated on Thursday on National Tequila Day.

Lauren Manker, a registered dietist located in South Carolina, shared with some myths and facts around Tequila with Fox News Digital.

Manaker said that a pure tequila made of 100% agave, can be a “appropriate option” for health-mind imbibers.
“Hangover depends on how much you drink, how hydrated you are, and with whom you combine it, not just the type of alcohol.”
The health expert said, “It is naturally low in sugar and does not have additives, which can be easier on your body than sugars cocktails or heavy processed alcohol.”
Nevertheless, Manaker said that Tequila is not a hangover-proof despite popular belief.

“No wine is actually ‘hangover-proof’,” said the dietist. “Hangover depends on how much you drink, how hydrated you are and with whom you add it – not just the type of alcohol.”
Nevertheless, Tequila is not necessarily healthy.

Manaker said that all alcohols have been classified as a group 1 carcinogen for research on cancer by the international agency.

“This means that it is in the same category as tobacco and asbestos – not because it is equally risky, rather because it is enough evidence that it is a link to an increase in the risk of cancer, especially with heavy or regular consumption,” she said.

“So, while a drink here and most people here is fine, it is worth keeping the big picture in mind.”

Tips for health conscious cypping
Quantity cases: Moderation is the key. As per the recommendation by health guidelines, stick for a drink for women or two drinks per day for men. Overdupping is the place where the trouble begins.
Take care of your mixer: Leave the sugar mixer (eg margita mix) and choose a splash of grape juice for soda water, fresh lime or mild option.

Eat before drinking: Drinking empty stomach is a recipe for disaster. A balanced food with protein, healthy fats and carbs can help slow down alcohol absorption.
Hydrate: Alcohol dehydrates you, so drink water during first, and after. A good rule of thumb is a glass of water for every alcoholic beverage.

“And remember, the best way to avoid the hangover is to drink less or not,” the manker said.
