But For the 19,499 base variants, I think it represents a good value for anyone in search of a premium-pelting device in this price bracket. Yes, there are some swallows and some of them are with software and some with hardware, but large and big, experiences are positive. Here is my review of IQO Z10R.
Every day performance is smooth but does not expect big things
The IQO Z10R MediaTek Dimentation is powered by a 7400 chipset, which is an octa-core chipset on 2.6 GHz. The version I am testing has 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. In everyday tasks, I did not focus on slowing down the phone. Actually, the apps opened as soon as possible.
The phone placed apps in memory, which displays good memory management. However, the phone once left some frames, especially by raising many apps. This appears to be an adaptation issue that can be ironed over time.
But overall, I don’t think you may be wrong with IQO Z10R when you talk about performance. For the price, this MediaTek Demistance provides 7400 chipset, which offers decent performance. We also ran a synthetic benchmark, where the phone scored 1,035 points in a single-core test and 2,985 in multi-core test in Geekbench 6. These are decent numbers, but they are not especially great compared to rivals such as MediaTek Demidence 7300 Pro-Powered CMF Phone 2 Pro.
When it comes to gaming, again, decent but expect top-end performance. However, one thing I will give the credit of the phone, it has thermal management. Even after the long, continuous camera session and our short gaming session, the phone did not get too hot.
Design definitely stands out
The IQoo Z10R has a subtle shield black finish that stands out. I am testing the Aquamarine color of the phone and I can say that the back does not look very attractive; It has the correct amount of flair. However, a region where IQoo Z10R can be better in terms of design is its bright side. They are fingerprint magnets. Here, I would have liked the mats sides, as they used to complement the back better.
However, when it comes to in-hand feel, the phone is comfortable. Weight distribution is well done; It does not feel top-tail despite having a large camera module at the top. The phone is curved on both back and front. It has a 4D curved screen with a minor curve on the edges, which gives the phone a more premium look.
However, you will get a problem with this screen, for this, you are buying temporary glass screen protectors. You have to choose a UV-Ilas Tempered Glass Guard, and it is not convenient at all. There is a pre-installed screen guard over the phone, but it does not provide adequate protection.
Regarding durability, the phone has an IP68 and IP69 rating, which means that you can make it worrying in the rain. Even if your phone becomes slightly wet, there is nothing to worry about. It is very good to see it at this price point.
Camera remains solid
It is difficult to complain about the camera experience, for the price. In particular, no ultra-wide-angle lens and no telephoto lens; There is only 50MP IMX882 primary camera with a depth of 2MP, so you are limited in terms of versatility. Talking about the overall image quality from this main sensor, it is decent for most parts and is great for price.
However, in difficult lighting conditions, the phone may introduce slightly grains. As you can see from the image samples, some pictures, even clicked during the day, reflect some grains, especially in the shadow and deep parts of the image. However, it completely changes when the image is high opposite; The grain disappears. This can be an adaptation issue.
But overall, if you ask me how the camera experience is, I would say it is great for the price you paid. Highlights are well controlled, the overall dynamic range is great, and the video performance is decent, as well as able to record 4K at 30 FPS.
Speakers and HAPTICS leave more to be desired
