While the iPhone 17 Pro model is definitely going to be the main attraction of the iPhone 17 series, iPhone 17 and rumors are going to be an entry-level device in the iPhone 17 air line-up. Both iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air are expected to get a 6.3-inch display. However, the iPhone 17 can actually play a much larger battery than the iPhone 17 Air, and it can come in the form factor. The air of iPhone 17 is expected to be a device that makes primatitis at the function, but in doing so, it can actually come up with a much smaller battery than the iPhone 17.
However, the major difference may come down to design. The iPhone 17 can look similar to the iPhone 16, up to 6.3 inches with a slight bump in size. However, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to pursue the design range of the Apple and offer a remarkable thin device, which may be lower than 6 mm depending on reports such as Ming-Chi Kuo and internal sources in the industry. Therefore, if you are looking for something that is going to be the highest portable, very thin and super sleek, the iPhone 17 can be worth waiting for 17 Air.
Another big difference may be in the context of cameras
The iPhone 17 is expected to offer a dual camera set-up, in which Apple is also using in-sensor zooming to allow optical-quality 2x shots and is 0.5x ultra-wind-angle lens to allow for 2x shots. However, the iPhone 17 Air can be limited to only one camera set-up, and can compensate by offering a sensor zooming like the Apple iPhone 17. However, if you want an ultra-wind, you can miss it.
What about performance?
When it comes to performance, there may not be much different because both phones are expected to be operated by Apple A19 chip, which is going to be a 3Nm chipset based on the architecture of TSMC. Reports states that neither A19 Pro will be found, which will be with the iPhone 17 Pro model. Reports also said that both phones can come with 12GB RAM to make way for Apple Intelligence facilities.
