Cancer City, Mo – With Independence Day and the United States 250th anniversary, just one year away, a Missouri company is making its way into history.
Allied materials located in Canasus City, are being manufactured from 1951. The company now makes about 1,000 flags per day, with many military funerals, government buildings and many luck for porch of patriotism.
“It’s like our Christmas,” said Tyler Young President of Allied Materials. “We start preparing for months in advance, creating additional inventory because we know that this is the weekend, American will show its patriotism the most.”

The company is the largest vertical integrated flag manufacturer in the United States, producing more than 300,000 flags per year for federal agencies, including the US Senate, Defense Department and military bases worldwide.

“We make the federal government-non-compliance flags,” said Young. “This means that every component becomes sour in America – from cotton seeds to dyed clothes. No corners are cut, no cost is spared. It is actually the best flag that you can place in front of your house.”

Each flag begins with the American-diarrhea cotton or nylon, which is dyed, rolled and bites in stripes. Those people have been sewn together in Canasus City and have joined the company’s Louisiana facility with Kashidakari Star Fields. All the flags are inspected and trimmed before the final touch: metal gromates that prepare them to fly.

Young said that seriousness is shared company-wide. “Next time someone sees this flag, he can be wrapped on an experienced coffin. It needs to be correct. We give it to that soldier and his family to respect his sacrifice.”
As the US looks forward to its semicinantenial in 2026, allids may be the largest flag-up phenomenon in American history.

“When the other suppliers collided with the tariff, we were not,” he said. “It was really fun to call and say to our customers,” Today you are getting a call from an American manufacturer who makes American-made products with American raw materials. “
