As India celebrates its 79th Independence Day, the Food delivery platform Zomato has joined the festival by announcing special proposals for its customers. From August 14 to August 17, members of Zomato Gold can enjoy free delivery on the orders given above 99, below the previous threshold 199. In addition, new users can take advantage of Zomato Gold membership for only 1. These offers already live on the Zomato app and are aimed at ordering online order for customers, supporting restaurant partners during this extreme period.
Aditya Mangla, Chief Executive Officer of Zomato’s Food delivery business, said the low delivery threshold is designed to encourage members to detect more restaurants and enjoy everyday food. He said, “By reducing the free delivery threshold for our Zomato Gold members, we aim to order online – customers searching for more restaurants to enjoy everyday food,” he told the Economic Times. He said that this initiative provides additional assistance to the restaurant partners during this critical time of the year.
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal announced shortly after India shared his vision for the economic and strategic self -reliance of India. Recently in the light of the American Tariff Hike, Goyal urged India to embrace his ability and embraced himself as a global superpower. He emphasized that instead of responding with outrage to external pressures, India should focus on ambition, self -determination and construction power in defense, technology and economic fields.
