In the city of Idaho College, an Idaho College city of Brian Kohberger’s deadly home invasion, the police chief has pushed back on reports that a living roommate has heard the killer referring to one of the victims named.
Amidst the clarification, it is an explanation that Roommate Dylan Mortenson referred to Kohberger, a 21 -year -old victim Kayali Gonclaves at the time of the murder.
Moscow police chief Anthony Dahlinger told Fox News’ Paul Mauro this week, “I am not sure where he got that report, but it is not accurate for me.”

Dahingar’s department released hundreds of documents on the case last month after Kohberger’s sentence. The Idaho State Police then released more than 500 additional pages over the weekend.
Disputed claim appears in the second hand conversation on page 91 of the state police documents:

He told the police that he thought he listened to the gonclaves, who was one of the four stabbing victims, but later said that it was probably 20 -year -old Xanaa Kernodle, killed in another roommate attack.

Prior to Kohberger’s guilty petition, Raksha attacked his credibility and alleged that his story had shifted during several interviews with the police.
The claims were proved irrelevant when they acknowledged crimes as part of a petition to avoid the death penalty, which the prosecutors would have sought if the gamblers convicted them in the trial.

Kohberger convicted four cases of first-digry murder and another for the theft.
Idaho Judge Steven Hippler sentenced him to four consecutive life gel without the possibility of parole, as well as another 10 years. Under the deal, he waived his right to appeal and seek less punishment.

Officials have said that they can prove that Kohberger targeted the house on 1122 King Road – but not the roommate or roommates that he was later. He ranked at least a dozen times before the murders and returned to the scene after hours.
