A SWAT team shot two firefighters and injured two firefighters after a dead man and a nearby gun hours after hours of a gun, when they were struggling with a forest fire in Idaho, officials confirmed late on Sunday night.
The Kootenai County Sheriff Office stated that the dead male was located on Canfield Mountain. A shelter was removed in the place, but an active wildfire was creating fire, the office of Sheriff said. Officers are expected to provide more information at the ET press conference at 12:30 pm.

Noris said he “hoping that, someone has a clear shot and is able to neutralize the danger” because it did not seem that the suspects (S) were going to surrender soon.

Attorney General Palm Bondi shared a statement and said that more support is going for Idaho.

Homeland’s Security Secretary Christie Nom Department also said that his department is actively monitoring the situation and “justice will be given.”
Idaho Governor Brad Little reacted to the incident in a post on X.
