Hasin Jahhan, wife of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami, appreciated the order of the Calcutta High Court on Wednesday, in which Pesar was directed to pay ₹ 4 lakh monthly “> 4 lakh monthly in alimony for her and her daughter.
Speaking to news agency Annie, Hasin Jahhan alleged that Mohammed Shami forced her to leave her profession and become a housewife.
“I used to act model and act before getting married. Shami forced me to leave my profession. He wanted me to live only a housewife’s life. I loved Shami so much that I happily accepted it … but now I have not all responsibility for my maintenance. That is why we refused when we reject it.
“Thank God that there is a law in our country that orders people to bear their responsibilities … If you are entering a relationship with someone, it is not written on his face that he has a poor character, a criminal, or will play with your daughter’s future … I too became a victim like this …” He said.

The Indian fast bowler did not immediately respond to his allegations. However, he had earlier dismissed all the allegations against him and alleged that his wife had been misled by someone.
What order did Calcutta High Court order
Calcutta High Court has ordered Mohammed Shami to pay Every month 4 lakhs for their wife, Hasin Jahn and daughter.
A bench of Justice Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee passed an order on a petition filed by Hasin Jahhan and directed to pay the Indian cricketer 1.5 lakhs to his wife and 2.5 lakh to her daughter monthly.

Jahn ordered the High Court to pay against the order of a district session court 50,000 to his wife and 80,000 to her daughter in 2023.
During the hearing in the High Court, Hasin Jaan’s legal lawyer argued that Mohammed Shami’s financial circumstances could support higher alimony. According to his income tax return for the financial year 2021, Shami’s annual income was almost 7.19 crore, or surrounding 60 million per month.
Jahn worked as a model and cheerleader for Kolkata Knight Riders before marrying Shami in 2014. The couple gave birth to their daughter in 2015.
In 2018, Jahan accused Shami of domestic violence, dowry harassment and match-fixing. He claimed that Pesar had received money from a Pakistani woman. Jahn also alleged that her husband had stopped paying her to run her family expenses.
