PHILP has stated that it is visiting “to get more information about” what is happening on the ground with an illegal migration crisis on the northern coast of France.
The number of people trying to go to the UK by crossing the English channel in small boats has been increasing for almost eight years.
Since 2018, when the figures were first recorded, more than 170,000 people have come to the small boats.
In 2022, 45,755 traveled, in 2024 it was 37,000 and till August 11 this year, 27,029 people have come to the UK.
In the first three months of the year, the Afghans created the top nationality of people arriving by small boat, followed by Syrians, Iranians, Vietnamese and Irritance.
To reduce the number of crossings, the Labor Government has taken steps to “break the gangs”, which conducts crossings, including spending £ 100M to fund 300 National Crime Agency officials, to deal with people-souls.
It has also reached A ‘One-in, one-out’ agreement To send some arrival back in France and in return, Britain will take shelter seekers in France who have not tried to create a crossing.
Prime Minister Sir Kir Stmper has stated that the deal was “the product of the months of growing ups” which would “provide real results”.
The conservatives have criticized the government for ending their Rwanda Yojana, which was aimed at sending arrival in the East African country, where their refuge applications were processed.
At the beginning of this week, Filp said: “Labor tore our preventers, before they were also, and the results are in black and white.
“When I went to the channel to see Labor’s action in France Returns, the truth was clear. Within half an hour of reaching the French coast, I noticed that two pack dingies were being taken into Britain water. Every illegal migrant should be removed on arrival immediately.”
Louis Calve, head of Sharan Matters Charity, has said that the government’s ‘One-in, One-Out’ deal with France was another attack on human rights to search for sanctuary “.
“In strengthening the criminalization of people using their legal rights to seek refuge, our government continues to ignore the refugee conference – which allows travel by irregular means to find the sanctuary – and punish people to use the only instrument available to reach security.”
