According to Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner, the Trump administration has ordered a nationwide review of public housing in an attempt to stop the residents living in the country illegally.
The Turner wrote that each public housing authority has 30 days to ensure that the existing orders have been implemented. The department is seeking information about public housing units, as well as verification qualified citizenship or “eligible immigration status”.
