Kullu: A child is taken to a village to raise. A 11-month-old child was released alone when her parents and grandmother were swept away in flashflud after a cloudburst in Mandi district on 30 June. After the tragedy, who was turning into a family, a community had a heartbreaking story.The orphan is still surrounded by love, Little Nikita still looks for her mother in a crowd of familiar and unfamiliar faces, but the soft hands and kind eyes try to fill the zero.There was no shortage of hearts to adopt her, but Nikita’s relatives decided on Sunday, after her parents’ funeral – she lived with her ancestral aunt, Kirana Devi. Many schools have also called the family, which offer to enroll Nikita, which when the time comes for free on August 14.Nikita migrated to the miraculous migration on the night of 30 June, when a cloudbuke was triggered by a cloudburst in Talwara village of Gohar subdivision in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. While Nikita survived Gashing Torrents, most of her family members were swept away.His 31 -year -old father, Ramesh Kumar, was trying to stop the water from entering the house, when the water roams inside. His body was later found in the middle of the debris nearby. The 24 -year -old mother of the child, Radha Devi, and 59 -year -old grandmother, Porornu Devi were also washed. None of them have been found.The village was destroyed. When he went to investigate the rural families and assess the loss, an elderly neighbor heard Nikita crying and alerted relatives.Nikita’s aunt, Tara Devi and Kirana Devi took her to her care. And the entire community reached the orphan child.When the word was around, Nikita’s relatives and Mandi district administration started receiving calls from couples from abroad to adopt it. However, the family met together and decided against the adoption.Kirana Devi of Shakouri village near Thunga in Serj area of Mandi district said, “Nikita is our blood and we can probably not give it to anyone outside the family. I will pick it up.”On Sunday, the family gathered to misuse Nikita’s father and demonstrated the funeral of his mother and grandmother, although his body has not yet been found.Tara’s husband Ramesh Kumar said, “All close relatives gathered in Talwara to attend the funeral. It was decided that Nikita would be with us.” “Me and my wife already wanted Nikita to be with us,” said Kirna’s husband Atraran Singh.Krishna Chand Thakur, a revenue officer posted in Gahar, visited the village of Talwara, said that a bank account was opened in the name of Nikita as people are coming forward with financial assistance.
