Police said that a fast -paced boy was killed near Bhangrola village in Gurugram at a fast pace near Bhangrola village on Thursday.
The car driver, who left the car after the incident, was later arrested, he said.
Police said the boy was identified as Abish, who lived with his family in Bhangrola village in a rented residence. The family is from Pali village in Patna, Bihar.
According to a complaint filed by his father, he stood near the village primary health center in the morning and was playing near the gate of Abish Information, when a black Mahindra used to knit Thar and ran over his son.
Police said, “When he ran to see him, his son was already dead, his head was crushed. The driver ran away seeing a mob, which ran his car behind,” the police said.
An FIR was lodged in connection with the death at Kherki Daula police station and the car was seized.
Police later measured the driver, a 22 -year -old Gaurav, a native of Shikohpur village and a DPharma diploma holder.
A spokesman for the Gurugram police said, “The accused confessed that he was driving his vehicle at a high speed towards the PHC of the village Ghankroola. He did not see the child and ran over him.”
