Google can work on better Android backup for more convenience

Backing up your phone is one of the most important things that you can do to protect your data, including photos, videos and other sensitive documents, especially if you lose your phone or it gets stolen. Going back to the cloud of your data continuously is a feature that now provides many phones. However, the backup process varies and does not cover all file types or folders.
Now, while Android phones always have a strong backup mechanism to protect your data, including photos, videos and more. However, there is a limit when it comes to some folders, especially download folders. Now, it seems that it can eventually turn into an upcoming Android Play Services update, as seen by Android Authority.

When can you expect it?
Well, this was first seen with Google Play Services version 25.32.31, and according to Android Aurtory, it will give you the option to enable backup for the download folder, as you do for photos, videos and other devices data. This means that you will no longer have to upload your download folder manually to Google Drive. Instead, as soon as your photos are supported automatically, the download folder will also be backup in the same way that you can access the files in your download folder anywhere and on all the devices where you are logged in your Google account.

Potential limits
The report also notes that there is a category called document, which states that Google can only allow some files to be backup, not each file type. This, of course, can limit it to some extent. Nevertheless, if it comes on Android, it will provide a much better experience than the current backup option available on Android.
