The lawyer representing Ghislane Maxwell told Fox News Digital that he prefers to “representing the underdog” as he tries to secure the freedom of Jeffrey Epstein’s partner.
Maxwell was recently shifted from a federal jail facility in Talhasi, Florida, Bryan, at a federal jail camp in Texas, his lawyer first told Fox News Digital. Neither Maxwell’s lawyer nor the bureau of jails gave a reason for the move.
Maxwell’s Attorney, David Oscar Marcus, told Fox News Digital during a phone interview on Friday that “people should not be so soon to judge and throw stones” as federal officials faced criticism on their customer’s move in the minimum-protection jail camp.
Marcus said during the interview, “I want all critics to respond to merit. We are not commenting on the matter for clear reasons.” “But when I can, I will have to say a lot about it.”

Maxwell is currently serving a 20 -year sentence for his participation in Epstein’s sexual offenses.

The previous customers of Marcus include East Talhasi, Florida Mayor Andrew Gilum, who came under 34,000 votes to defeat Florida village Ron Desantis in the 2018 Gubaranatorial election. Gilum faced allegations of federal corruption, as the prosecutors alleged that they gave the operation cash and took illegal gifts.
Federal prosecutors dismissed allegations of corruption after being acquitted on a count, the jury hung on the remaining charges.
Criminal defense lawyer Mark Eglersha, who is a friend of Marcus, says that Maxwell’s lawyer is a “total package”.
