Trump’s statement was supported by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who said that “the Indian economy is dead”.Apart from Chauhan, the BJP said that the latest figures growing from a strong-to-the-to 7.8% of India’s economy in April-June came as the “most difficult slap of reality” for Rahul. If we grow in this way, the skepticists would shut their mouths”. The growth of GDP in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal was mainly due to good performance by the farm sector.“Those who call it ‘dead economy’ should now understand that India is a ‘long living economy’ to realize the dream of a developed and completely self -sufficient India,” Chauhan said in a post on X. ,BJP’s IT cell head Amit Malviya said, “For Eskarbic, confusing, disappointed, and Rahul Gandhi dismissed – the same man who declared India a ‘dead economy’ – the latest GDP numbers are the most difficult slaps of reality.”Malavia said in a post on X, “India has seen 7.8% GDP growth in Q1 of FY 2025-26, leading the world’s major economies.”Attacking the government on the criticism of the Indian economy of US President Donald Trump, Rahul recently said that except for PM Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitarman, everyone knew that the country’s economy was “dead”.
