France says it will call the US ambassador to Charles Kushner, who states that there are unacceptable allegations of failing to deal with a bounce in antismitism.
The Kushner, who is a Jew and whose son is married to Ivanka, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, commented in an open letter to French President Emmanuel Macron in the Wall Street Journal.
Criticizing Israel to France in France since the war started in Gaza, Kushner said that there was a hatred of Jews in France.
“France strongly denies these latest allegations” that is “unacceptable”, an Foreign Ministry statement said, adding Kushner will appear on Monday.
In his letter, The ambassador called Macron to reduce Israel’s criticism and underlined the examples of antismitism, which he said was “long -term French life”.
“In France, a day passes without attacking the road without the Jews, the synagogues or schools are discredited, or the brutality in Jewish-owned businesses. Your own internal ministry has also reported antisementic events in preschool.”
He also said that he is ready to work with Macron and other French leaders to deal with the issue.
The ministry insisted that the Ambassadors of the Vienna Convention since 1961 were not allowed to intervene in the internal affairs of the country.
Kushner’s letter echoes the comments made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also wrote a letter to Macron last week. In this, he accused the French leader of calling for the international recognition of a Palestinian state and contributing to antismitism.
France plans to formally identify Palestine in September.
When Macron announced, he said that “we should build the kingdom of Palestine, ensure its viability, and ensure that by accepting its demonetisation and recognizing Israel completely, it contributes to everyone’s safety in the Middle East. There is no option”.
He has earlier publicly criticized antisemitis, which has increased safety to protect the adults and other Jewish centers in response to the antisementary incidents against French values and the antisemental incidents associated with the Gaza conflict.
The war was inspired by Hamas on 7 October 2023 by an attack in Southern Israel. It noticed that about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took hostage.
Jerusalem launched an aggressive launch in response, killing more than 60,000 people in Gaza, according to the Hamas-Interested Health Ministry of the region.
Last week, an famine was confirmed in Gaza city. The integrated food security phase classification stated that more than half a million people were facing “horrific” conditions, characteristic of “starvation, destruction and death”.
Israel denied that there was starvation in the area and the report was called “lump sum lie”.
